Why I Test Everything First

One thing you may not know about me is that before I offer something in my shop, I usually spend time living with it myself.

Whether it's jewelry I create, a body product I blend, or even a new purse design, I want to experience it the same way you will. I don't believe in selling something simply because it looks good in a photo. I want to know how it feels to use, how it holds up, and whether it truly brings me joy.

A perfect example is my Prosperity Oil.

When I first created the blend, I didn't immediately add it to my shop. I wore it for quite a while first. I paid attention to how I felt when I used it. I loved the scent, and I noticed that people around me often commented on how good it smelled. During that time, I also experienced several unexpected moments that felt meaningful to me—an old debt was unexpectedly repaid, someone insisted on paying me more than I had charged for a job, and even one of my monthly bills decreased without any obvious explanation.

Do I believe a bottle of oil magically made those things happen? No. But I do believe it became part of a daily ritual that helped me focus on gratitude, opportunity, and abundance. Whether those moments were coincidence, timing, or something more, they reminded me why I created it in the first place.

The same care goes into every product I offer.

Recently I ordered samples of some new bags I designed. One of them turned out beautifully, but another had a handle design that just didn't feel right to me. The printing was excellent, but the overall design wasn't something I would personally enjoy carrying. So I quietly removed it from my shop and started looking for a better option.

That's just how I work.

If I wouldn't be excited to own it myself, I don't want to ask someone else to buy it.

I think that's why I pay so much attention to the little things.

When I order something online and open the package, I love that feeling when it's even better than I expected. Maybe it's wrapped beautifully. Maybe there's a handwritten note or an extra detail that makes me smile. Those moments stay with me long after I've forgotten where I bought the item.

I want my customers to have that same experience.

When I'm creating, packaging an order, or even choosing a new product to add to the shop, I often catch myself asking the same question:

"If I were opening this package, how would I feel?"

If the answer isn't excitement, then I keep working until it is.

Because for me, Spirited Crafts has never been about simply selling products.

It's about creating something that feels thoughtful, intentional, and just a little bit special from the moment it arrives in your hands.

Thank you for allowing me to create for you. It truly means more than you know.

💛 Find Your Spirit.
